Several years ago, one of these gaming shows was held at the MGM Grand during the same weekend as our convention at the Aladdin. Many of us had requested tickets well in advance because of the show schedules. If you think what you saw and heard in the last few days was a manufacturers/distributors nightmare, you should have seen the expressions on some of the faces of those manufacturers who visited our show the following day.... when they saw their samples in many dealers' display cases with price tags on them. Didn't look too good.

A few weeks later, several of us were told that the dates of our convention are closely watched by these show promoters.
