Here's a scan of a couple of my Monte Carlo chips and I'll have to agree with the TCR listing of chips that aren't cancelled. After CLOSE examination under a glass in strong light, I can't believe the one on the left was ever hotstamped. The hotstamp example has left enough damage to be detected IMBO (In My Beginners Opinion!). Pebbles that are missing or out of norm appear on both chips and exist outside of the hotstamp on the canceled example. I have no problem representing the uncanceled chip as just exactly that.
