I had the best coffee ice cream I ever had in a small restaurant in Venice. That was on my first day in Italy, so expectations were set very high for excellent food throughout my Italian vacation. Unfortunately, the expectations were not met. Again, the food was good, nothing bad. Just not as good as I thought it would be.
