I knew about the Hard Rock set. However, I never heard that they had been admonished by gaming. Thank goodness they were.

I wonder if anyone ever received a rebate on their original purchase?

I still wonder about selling Silver Strikes and chips out of the Gift shops. I purchased several sets of the Pavarotti $25 chip and $10 Silver strike out of a gift shop at the Eldorado. I also purchased a chip at the gift shop in the Ormsby Carson City... And I know of several collectors who managed to get the $10 Circus Circus Las Vegas Reno Clown error out of the gift shop as well. Not to mention the $200 Silver Strikes also sold at the gift shops at the Eldorado Reno. All currents and all at a premium.
