Hello Bargers and RGPers,

As you probably know, there has been a tradition of an annual Chip Set produced for BARGE. Unfortunately last years set was never produced. When it appeared that this years set was also in danger, a group of us formed the Barge Chip Committee(BCC). The purpose of the BCC was to re-establish the BARGE Chip tradition and produce a set of Chips for 2000 (John Harkness's set) and 2001 (Jeff B's set). We also hoped to put some procedures in place to assure that all future BARGE Chip Sets will be produced on time. We think our mission has been accomplished.

The BARGE Chips are now available for sale. Go to http://www.scottro.com/order.asp to view the Chip Sets and to place your orders. I hope you enjoy them half as much as we enjoyed designing them. The theme for the 2000 set is "The Year of RGP" and features WSOP Champ-Chris Ferguson and TOC Champ-Spencer Sun. The theme for the 2001 set is "2001: A Poker Odyssey" and has a Space theme. Each set consists of Eight(8) chips. If you place an order for One years set the cost is $14. If you place an order for both years, the cost is $24 or $12 per year. Each additional years set will cost $12. Bulk rates of $0.80 per chip are available for 300 chip minimum orders. All orders will be delivered at BARGE unless you are not
planning on attending. If you want your order shipped, please include $0.20 per chip for shipping and handling. All shipped orders will go out after BARGE and by 8/15/2001.

In order to determine how many chips we need to order, we have set a preliminary deadline for ordering chips of 9 PM PST on May 13th. After this date the BCC reserves the right to adjust the price to cover our costs. We ask you to place your orders ASAP and send your checks ASAP so our out-of-pocket expenditures are minimal.
