The first thing I did when I saw these chips at Rene's table at last year's convention was to go find a copy of Anderson's illustrated book on casino ashtrays.... a great reference source for lots of chip questions. I would recommend that those who have access to this wonderful book, take a look at some of the logos on the Thunderbird ashtrays and ask yourself if any of the designs illustrated are close to the T-Bird chip design. I think that many of you will be pleasantly surprised. I don't know who is 100% correct on this topic, but it provides a lot of interesting provocative conversation. Every chipper ought to consider adding this terrific book to their personal libraries .... whether one collects ash trays or not. It's a wealth of information.
