I saw boxes of baseball cards I just bought 3 months earlier for 1/2 the price.

Why - because greedy dealers loaded up on the cards when they came out thinking they were going to make a quick buck. Couldn't sell them all. Needed cash to buy the next round of cards for the next sport. (Baseball - Football - Basketball - Hockey, then all over again).

SO, they had to unload for a discount price to raise the cash and continue until they ran out of money.

AND, I also got screwed on a box of cards that was REALLY supposed to be limited only to find it wasn't limited at all and the $75 I paid for the box was about $70 too much down the road.

Sound familiar?????
