Looking for chips is one of the main reasons I go to gunshows. I almost always find a few. I found a $14,000 set of ivories one time, (I didn't buy them). They are almost always antique chips. In my area, the midwest, its hard to find chips. I have noticed that some of the bigtime collectors on the board have adds in the local antique newspapers.
