I guess we could argue terminology ,Bob, but I feel an item isn't a counterfeit unless it was made to defraud the maker of the genuine item. These chips were not made till long after el Rancho Vegas closed so they couldn't have passed on the tables to defraud the casino.

They are replicas or fantasies, just as all the Borland commemoratives are. If anyone is fooled, it is a collector or tourist. Maybe not nice, but not counterfeiting in my vocabulary.
