T. R. King Question

First of all this is an excellent discussion of a topic that matters a lot to me as a chip collector. It's the reason that I regularly pick through "all the other stuff" on this board. Small point, but I think you meant small crown and not small key mold. Any comment on how that chip is "packaged?" It looks like it's bolted into a frame. Finally: Is there any specific history of "TR King samples?" For what purpose(s) are samples made? If the samples weren't ordered by the casino then who might have done the artwork? Thanks in advance.
