Archie, as I've noted on this bb, I do not collect current material from anywhere so I have had a problem in the past to conform with what the majority of collectors nominate: the American-style chip and token.

Regarding jeton new issues posted to this board, I'm not too famiiar with them, either, because I do not collec current material (just the old junque).

With the Euro (monetary unit) being introduced in Europe in 2002, I don't think too many casinos have issued new jetons last year, and even if they were, I truly believe those who have posted they are having a tough time learning which chips were issued last year.

I posted that I would like to favor the Four Queens and the Hard Rock because of the efforts both casinos put forth with the chip collector in mind and asked for some scans. I was then told where to go to view these chips. Otherwise, without me asking, I would not have any idea.

I like the idea of collectors posting their nominations and I feel they should continue to do so.
