One of the things you will learn in the chip collecting hobby is that slabbing and grading do not add to the value of a chip. Slabbinf and grading only adds to the expense of a chip. Most collectors are not willing to pay the added expense. Therefore your actual resale value is the value of the chip less the cost of grading / slabbing. Do not expect to get reimbursed for the cost of grading / slabbing when you go to resell.
