Somewhere between the self-righteous individuals chastising the General and Rene for expressing themselves on this free and open BB; and the other group of self-righteous individuals threating not to join our club if the fighting doesn't stop we lost sight of an extremely important development.

One of the authors of the "Official" suggested to an author of TCR to quit publishing TCR. I do not believe "the suggestion" has sunk in for you people who collect chips.

The audacity of such a suggestion deserves more then a few posts to Michael's note. For God sakes people the message is painfully clear. The authors of the "Official" want to eventually be the ONLY publication of suggested prices for our hobby.

Now I don't know about you but me; I believe this is slightly more important then chastising The General & Rene. Also far more important than threating not to join if the fighting doesn's stop; or telling individuals to take their arguements somewhere else. Hey people, why don't you tell the auithors of the "Official" what you think if you want to be so virtuous? They are the ones who are a threat to the hobby. Not Rene and The General.

Why don't you people who are so virtuous become indignant when it comes to "slabbing" instead of sitting on the sidelines and letting others carry the fight. You sure know how to jump on the wagon when the individuals on this board are being critical of two who say what they mean.

Personally, I don't care if someone's feelings are hurt and don't want real collectors expressing themselves on this BB. You want to make nice? Go to a different BB. As for me I love this hobby and don't want to see it destroyed.The Chip Rack is under siege. What are you going to do about it? Criticise Rene and Chuck somemore.
