Re: "Rare" chip question???

Gene, the statement

""Dealers from the other casinos were taking the chips
home to practice with, and why not, they were good clay chips that were only .25 each."

was regarding the Treasure Bay 25¢ Paulson chips, NOT the 25¢ Bud Jones chips. The Paulson chips were on the games for MUCH longer than the BJ chips. By the time the BJ chips hit the lay-outs, they wouldn't let you buy in for more than $3 of those at a time. They started that due to all of the new dealers sprouting up in this area in DIRE need of practice. Everyone said "Go to Treasure Bay and get a stack of quarters to practice cutting cheques with" So everyone did. There have been EXTENSIVE measures taken by Todd to obtain these chips. The only thing I have to say about him finding these is that I wish I had found them first <G>. I honestly believe that if there were MANY more out there, he (or I) would have found them before now. I don't hold too much hope for finding more, although that's not going to keep me from looking.

As far as this chip being "RARE" I've, personally, seen MANY auctions on eBay and posts on here referring to "RARE" chips that had MANY more than 9 known to the collecting world to exist. So I would say that these are the "RAREST" chips I've ever had the pleasure to hold in my hands. Hell, I even got to scan them <G>.
