Jim; I'll bet ALOT of club members are not aware of the Reward Fund that was established and announced in the club magazine several years ago after one of our California club members (Ron Dorian) experienced a similar misfortune. Just another example of dismissing problems in favor of "educating" our members on an on-going basis on various matters.... including slabbing.

I've brought this Reward Fund question to the current Board's attention that the club's financial statements should break out this $1000 that has been set aside for a Reward Fund as a separate category. I don't know if that has happened or not. I don't remember the exact issue of the club magazine that the Reward Fund was announced. Perhaps our Librarian could research it further. It deserves to be permanantly placed on the club's website.... which was not in existance until only relatively recently.
