Met Jim at the trade session at the very first club convention.During our conversation he mentioned that he had a few Atlantic City chips in his car and
he would get them if I wanted to look at them. As it turned out I got 4 of the hardest 2.50's from AC including the Resorts 1st issue. There was never
a visit to Las Vegas without spending time with Jim at either Carl's
or the bowling alleys at Showboat. He always had something to add to my collection. He even supplied many of the early issue Beannie Babys to my
wife.Bruce Landau and I were in Las Vegas last week and were to meet with
Jim but he said he wasn't feeling well,and to call him when we arrived.
Saddly we never were able to get together and now he is no longer with
us. We will miss Jim as he truly was one of the GOOD GUYS.
