Lindbergh Plane, Spirit of St Louis, 1927

Typical eBay dealer full of it. Typical assertions that are meaningless and can't be disproved; ". I

was told that this set could date back before 1900." Ha. Ha!

Anyway, the poker chip is of Charles Lindbergh's famous Spirit of St, Louis which flew the Atlantic in 1927 -- first solo cross-Atlantic flight, non-stop. I don't think air planes even existed in the 19th century, but the dealer was TOLD this -- something no one can disprove.

Very common chip, by the way. Really worth nothing unless it is a large 200-chip set in nice condition.

Robt.
