... to the email I sent this seller, which was as follows:

>> Hello ----- ran across your eBay auction tonight. Thought you might like
>> to know that this chip couldn't have come from the Horseshoe Club in Las
>> Vegas (or any of the other Nevada Horseshoe Clubs, either).

>> Complete information about Horseshoe chips is available in The Chip Rack by
>> KMW Publications. The LV Horseshoe opened in 1951. It has had seven
>> varieties of $100 chips. All were black and all have Benny Binion's picture
>> on them.

>> The Reno Horseshoe has had two different $100 chips, one
>> black w/ hat & cane mold and one light grey w/ hub mold.

>> None of the other Nevada Horseshoe clubs has ever had a $100 chip.

>> BTW, the Vegas Horseshoe has never used a chip with the Harp
>> mold that appears on your chip.

>> There have also been a number of Horseshoe Clubs in California, but neither
>> of the California chip guides lists a $100 chip that matches yours.

>> I cannot tell you for sure where your chip is from. But,
>> without doubt it did not come from the Horseshoe in Vegas.

>> ----- jim o\-S

The description in this auction is, in my opinion, intentionally misleading. Particularly if the seller is a member of the club. Anone with access to the chip books can tell this is not from Vegas. ----- jim o\-S
