Maybe if our jails weren't set up like vacation get-a-ways criminals might not be so eager to be sent there. They have more benefits, free services, and better medical care than a large portion of the taxpayers.

There was a Sheriff out west somewhere who had a workable solution. He house his prisoners in tents and made them WORK and wear pink underwear. No kidding!

There were no TV's, radios, newspapers, law libraries, exercise rooms, etc. All he provided were the basics. The way it is nor - why work for a living, commit a crime and go to jail and take it easy the rest of your life.
