I was buying ingot silver in the late 70's Archie. It was a strange glitch in commodities markets that I, while I profited from it, hope never happens again. The Hunt brothers tried to corner the silver market, and their efforts also contributed to the melting down of what would today be many collectible silver coins. The inflation rate at the time hurt a lot of people, kept many folks out of the housing market, unable to pay 21% interest on a home loan....and that was the prime rate!

....glad we're not there now!
