Tulip Mania (a lesson to be learned)

Good Morning!

I just read a couple of days of TCB postings. I read with interest about the prices for the $25 HR "Cure" chips. Ever hear the true story about tulip speculation in Holland in the early 1600's? Tulips Mania! Prices reached hundreds and sometimes thousands of dollars (equivalent) for a ...FLOWER! I can't help but draw a parallel to the current prices for some of the LE chips. Jim R. made a post a couple of days ago about a $25 Cure chip on eBay, I checked the bid a few minutes ago...$274.69! For a ...PIECE OF CLAY!

The link below is for a web site that has some info about speculation on tulips in Holland in the early 1600's. It's about 2/3 down the page. Interesting stuff.

I'll bet the price for a $25 Cure chip will be less than $35 by the end of the year.
