Jim; I wrote to an ebay seller today as well. The seller was offering a Brighton $1 roulette chip with an opening bid of $20. While the chip was described twice in the text as being a roulette, the image was that of a $1 value chip. Brighton roulettes normally go for $100 and up... as John B. and Jim E. will testify. To make a long story short, the seller says that she was selling the chip on behalf of her mother and used her Mom's description. Since there had not been an opening bid submitted, the seller revised her listing and deleted all references to the word "roulette".

The same seller has an old obsolete Resorts International $12 roulette chip described in another ebay lot. I explained to the seller that the chip was not a $12 chip, but was from roulette table number 12. The chip has several bids at this point in time and no revision is allowed. The seller did tell me that she had emailed the bidders to tell them of this error. The chip is still worth the current bid levels as it is a first issue H&C hot stamp Resorts International roulette chip. If anyone is interested, they can still look it up as the deadline has not yet expired as far as I can recall.

In short, I'm still monitoring chips from A.C. periodically and bringing attention to the sellers some inacurate descriptions. Most have thanked me for bringing it to their attention and most have made revisions.
