Re: Speaking of California chips...

Although it has been about a year since I made my last chip run to the Eureka area, as far as I know there are only two card rooms still operating. One is called S & K card room (located on F street in downtown) and the other, whose name I cannot recall is located across the street from the Doubletree Hotel (previousely known as the Red Lion Inn.) Believe me, I didn't even save any of those as their chips were so worn, only the colors appear. If they were originally hot stamped, all traces of it must have disappeared at least during the first millennium.

I understand that the S & K card room has since been sold, therefore the new owner may have change the name to Jerry's, but I cannot verify that. By the way, both clubs are one table operations.

About 35 miles north of Eureke, in Trindad, sits an Indian Casino where most people visit.
