Re: Seller Cancelled Auction.....NOT GOOD?
In Response To: Re: Seller Cancelled Auction ()

I don't understand WHY everyone feels that this was a good thing to do! After all, people were willing to take a chance and there WERE bids on the item for goodness sake. If people condone this type of activity anytime a seller in any auction feels they can get more for an item once the info is obtained, they can stop the auction and be "praised"??? Let's see what the minimum is when they're relisted before we shower this seller with praise. All I ever read here is "buyers should know the facts before bidding". Well, shouldn't this rule also apply to sellers?????
I too submitted an email to the seller and DID NOT get a reply. What I said in a brief summery was that I know TWO of the chips in the bracelet were quite rare and highly sought after by collectors in this field. I also asked if I were to bid, and the chips proved to be fake, would the seller offer a refund or were they being sold "as is". A simple request, don't you think?
I don't mind if a seller ends an auction early IF there are no bids. How is the practice of ending an auction early....WITH BIDS THAT WOULD BUY THE ITEM...any different than all the complaints about shills?????? Think about it!
