Andy; I know that you are stretching the truth here to make a valid point.....
"Archie is a prime example, back in the old Prodigy days he thought we should all be shot! <G> Andy - Las Vegas" .... and yes, I'll confess that I changed my mind. SOME of you prodigy guys should have been HUNG, not "shot".<vbg>

Seriously though, Yes, I've climbed on board the 2000 (dare I say millennium) Express! But it was force-fed upon me by my generous son a few years ago, whom I have mentioned on several occassions before. Sometime I curse the day he gave me my first computer! I must confess that the computer has made publishing my catalogs much easier for me and in conducting my modest A.C. New Issues Service. I don't know how I would manage without it today.

Todays collectors; some of whom own computers, will have to make their decisions for themselves if and when they want to enter the "on-line" computer age. It takes time, especially for older people to make changes in their otherwise comfortable lifestyles. The longer they go without, the more likely position to take is, "I've done without it for this long... why start now?"

Younger people who grew up with computers in the course of their employment or while in school will adapt to the technology changes more readily than someone older who has no computer experience.

Overall, it's been fun.... and you're right,... we should be encouraging lots of others to join in the fun.
