I order DVD's from Reel.com. I get a substantial discount on titles that I preorder (prior to actual release date) via their website.

I can't get the "advantage" of this discount unless I use their online facilities to preorder.

Is Reel.com "unfair" to DVD owners who are not on line? (No)

I buy clothes online from Eddie Bauer. They have online specials and discounts that people who buy via Bauer's paper/mail order catalogue or who go into the Bauer shopping mall retail outlets don't get. You can ONLY get certain special offers and discounts when ordering online.

Is Eddie Bauer "unfair" to shoppers who are not online? (No)

WHAT IF online registration WAS available for the 2000 Convention / Poker Tournament.

WHAT IF my computer was in the shop for 2 weeks and I was not able to log on and register for the tournament.

Is that "unfair" to me because my computer was in the shop? (No)
