I'm still not convinced that ...

... the bidding practices described by David Whalen violate eBay's rules. If the bidder fully intends to complete the sale, then the price is not being "artificially" raised, which is the language eBay used to define bid manipulation.

If the bidder has no intention of completing the sale, then I agree that it is prohibited by eBay's rules. ----- jim o\-S
