#3, as a bidder yes, as a seller, no. I watched a $130 face value GO set from Colorado sell for $125 last year. The seller lost money because there is no minimum. Tax the buyer and the seller without a minimum bid and you force people into the position of not putting items up for auction or bidding on their own stuff. I will never put a valuable chip in the club auction under the current rules. Never. I won't bid on my own stuff to "protect" it, nor will I have anyone else place a shill bid to "protect" it.
