#2 Isn't shill bidding the same as a reserve? I would rather have someone set a minimum (reserve) than have them biddin on their own lots or having someone bid for them. At least we know the playing field is level.

#1 HUH? I'm a collector, not a dealer, but I have sold some chips, so what does that make me? My primary interest is collecting, accumulating and hoarding. Even when I have multiple duplicates, I don't consider trading or selling now and then being a dealer. (haven't we debated the semantics of this before? <G>)

My intentions are to buy, sell and trade to improve collection. A dealer buys, sells and trades on speculation. (but can also be a collector.) Forget about the "profit" part of this. If a dealer makes a profit, it's partly luck and mostly a lot of hard work!

I made a profit on a chip once... then I spent it on more chips. lol
