Questions about the Westerner Club, LV

Two questions about The Westerner Casino that was in Las Vegas from about 1950 to 1960. Both questions concern $1 chips that are not in TCR 6.

1) The Official U.S. Casino Chip Price Guide lists a $1 Arodie chip that is unique, only 1 known. As there were no other Arodie chips known from this club, in any other denominations, isn't it likely that this was just a sample chip and that there were never any $1 Arodie chips actually used at this casino?

2) I acquired a blue small crown HS $1 chip that says: Westerner Club. When I got it I was told by the knowlegable seller that it was from a California Card Room. Now I see that the same chip is up for auction on Ebay as being from the Las Vegas casino. The irony is that it is also not listed in the Official U.S. Casino Chip Price Guide (we need an abbreviation for this great reference book) and the seller in the auction is none other than James Campiglia, one of the authors of the guide. Is this chip from Vegas or California?
