Sure no system is perfect, but I still feel more comfortable dealing with a buyer/seller with a + rating. I always try to take the 30 seconds it requires to post feedback, 90% of the time it is returned.

This is especially true when it comes to purchases/sales in the non-chip categories, where I have less of a chance of knowing the buyer/seller.
