Somebody got the inlays back in this $20 mule, Gene. They are very tight.

To answer Paul's question, there are two separate metal buttons, one on each side of the chip. The $1 Sahara next to the Frontier shows what it looks like with one inlay out.

I suspect the way to get tight inlays after the molding process is complete is some kind of adhesive between the two metal inlay pieces.
