...Jim (and others), There are padded mailing devices available (coin dealers use them) that easilly pass through thst USPS "measuring card" they use to see if a postcard is oversized, or if the padded envelope is too thick. If the envelope is thin enough, the additional 11¢ isn't charged....providing you bring it to the clerk's attention. Otherwise, zappp...another 11¢ out of the sender's pocket. <g>
