I'm glad everything worked out ok. Now, let me give you a little free advice that I'm sure you already know, but I will say it anyway. Always make a backup BEFORE installing any new software.

Hard drives are SO CHEAP right now. I would suggest the easiest way to make backups now is to simply add another hard drive to your computer for $150 or less and use it only for backups.
