Dealer playing with words......maybe?

John,

I am sure that in his claim to 15,000 Silver Strike collectors he is including people who collect "ANY" silver coin/token other than those made by casinos.

However, putting that message on his Casino Silver Strike page is somewhat confusing or ambiguous to say the least.

The funny part of his statement on his web page is that with all of those silver strike collectors, and his claim to have cornered the market on the Eldorado Pavarotti Strikes, why does he have any left and can't seem to sell them on E-bay as his current auctions show for $49.95 each. He claimed to have over 800 of these tokens, and if only 6% of his 15,000 silver strike collectors were in reality Casino Silver Strike collectors, he would have sold them all. Not to mention the 550 different silver strikes he has in stock.

My concern here is that the true "NEW" Casino Silver Strike collector may believe this claim that there are that many silver strike collectors and should buy a token from him as soon as possible before his 15,000 collectors sell him out.

I am not meaning to ridicule or defame here, it just that the claim doesn't make much sense with regard to Casino Silver Strike collector numbers.

Getting back to the usage of the word "rare" here....

I am just wondering if a mintage of 1000 (rumored) Pavarotti Silver Strikes make them rare(as his e-bay titles say)? Like I mentioned he's having difficulty selling them for $49.95 each.

BTW, there is another group of collectors who also collect the $10 Silver Strikes since these tokens are "bi-metallic". This group is rather small right now but like our club it is growing.

I subscribe to their newsletter but am not a member,,, YET. Will be joining their group soon.

I wonder how many other off-shute clubs, groups and orginazations there are that dabble within the Casino area that also collect the Casino chips and tokens?
