EDDY CAMPIGLIA'S FALSE CHARGE - A CLUE

1) Other than to hear on this Board from Sue C., to the effect that Eddy is Jame's father, I have had no response from the Campiglias.

2) However, several good friends of both have privately advised that they are seeking to resolve the problem and I am very pleased.

3) I have a clue to what may have started this. I set forth below some e-mail messages sent privately to me as indicated. I have removed the e-mail addresses but will furnish them privately if requested. In sum, what the messages reveal is that on Sept. 9, at 5:38 p.m. I received an unsolicited post from Robert Bell asking if I would be interested in buying a Holiday Queen $5 which Mr. Bell [whom I have never met nor to my recollection had any previous web contact] said he possessed. In that posting, he included a post from George Conrad declining a similar offer as being "way out of (his-George Conrad's) range." Mr. Bell did not otherwise describe the chip. I read that post the followning morning at the office (had no power at home), Sept. 10 at 6: 46 a.m., I responded and asked Bell for more information. Mr. Bell then said he was not the owner of the chip and would provide me with more information this weekend. In the meantime on Sept. 9, at 11:56 P.M. and prior to my request to Bell for more information, Eddy made his infamous post accusing me of interfering in a chip sale. I can put two and two together and conclude that Bell [whoever he is] was acting for a person from whom Eddy or James or both were seeking to buy the chip. Unfortunately, because of the storm, I did not see the above post & offer from Bell nor Eddy's attack until after I had sent my inquiry to Bell. Three hours later I read Eddy's attack and was so upset, I didn't remember the earlier message from Bell and my reply--if I had remembered them, that would only have enraged me further, since I interferred with no sale.

Here are the various posts.

James: I am sorry that you have not chosen to contact me or reply to
my messages since Eddy [your father] chose to send a message on
Greg's board falsely accusing me of interfering with your attempt to
buy a chip. I had am sending you some correspondence between me and
Rob Bell [whom I do not know and who contacted me gratuitously as per
below]. This may or may not shed some light on the matter. As you
can see, Rob Bell apparently knows a person who has a Holiday Queen
chip that the person wanted to sell. Apparently he contacted George
Conrad to see if he was interested and in turn George recommended
that he contact me. You can see my reply. At that time, I was not
aware that Bell was dealing with you, if in fact he was. You can see
my reply. If this is the basis for the unfortunate posting by "Eddy"
I would like to hear from you about it. If not, then I have no idea
what the matter is all about since I have seen a Holiday Queen chip
only once and it was way beyond my ability to buy it at that time.

4) That is the extent of the information I have on the Holiday Queen chip.

Here is my correspondence with regard to the chip that preceded Eddy's posting
