Re: Nevada Gold Museum "Numero Uno"

Hi Gene,

Non-Profit Corps can own millions of dollars of property, and conduct events that bring in millions of dollars in revenue. They just can't show a profit at the end of each fiscal year. They have to spend it doing business. They can accept millions of dollars of sponsorship monies to promote events, but these funds have to be distributed to employees or infused into new purchases directly related to the Corp, be directly related to expenses incured to upgrade a facility, or paid out to participants of said events. A Non-Profit has a tendancy to be questioned by the IRS when the officers of the organization receive large salaries for running said Non-Profit organization.

I guess what I was trying to say is, if someone wants to sent up a museum and charge admittion, the Non-Profit part of locating it for permanemt display shouldn't be the tough part. Finding a place without buying, building or leasing the space would be the tough part.

Bob
