The owners of Otto's Blackforest Inn and Casino in Black Hawk CO have filed for personal Chapter 11 Bankruptcy protection. They also own the recently closed Rohling Inn. The filing was done to protect some of their personal holdings in the Black Hawk and Central City gaming districts, and is not any indication that Otto's is in danger of closing. They claim Otto's is a profitable venture, and the Chapter 11 filing doesn't involve that property.

I left the newspaper article at work, and can't remember the names of this husband and wife team, but the husband used to be the mayor of Black Hawk, had to relinquish his office due to Colorado's gaming regulations regarding casino ownership and public office.
