The Orleans did in fact ask how many chips they should produce. I informed them that our former host hotel had produced 2000 for each show. I strongly suggested that 1500 be the MINIMUM order and as we all saw that advice was not heeded. Quite frankly, there were members of the senior management (won't name names) that did NOT want to even produce a chip for our show. Only after an impassioned 5 page letter from me, on the Club's behalf, did Mike Gaughan, Jr go to bat for us and have Paulson produce what they did. And just FYI, the hassles we had over the Club Chip were worse. I wasn't even sure this one was going to come off. The Orleans does NOW realize that they should have produced more and limited the numbers to any one person (they did do this to some extent) This is the first year at the Orleans and they did not quite understand the "chippers" like a seasoned Pro like yourself does. They agree that the numbers and limits need to be addressed for 1999. And Gene, thanks for the Fiesta Promotional chip, class move.
