NOT ALL WAS GOOD AT THE CONVENTION

There was some stealing of chips going on. I know 2 dealers that lost some nice chips. I will leave the stories up to the ones that lost them.

A good friend from Il was ripped off offed by a dealer on a Desert Inn chip. He is trying to get a complete DI collection. He was sold one of the DI counterfits for a big price. He was overjoyed to find a different DI chip, until he stopped by the Fiesta Monday. I guess I busted his bubble.

If you haven't seen the DI counterfit, it is a Paulson Casino Scandia chip sold at the retail store for 60 cents. Someone has managed to copy the inlay sticker from a BJ $5 DI chip and re-sticker it. It is possible they peeled the inlay from one side of a lot of BJ's chips and used them. They are perfect inlays. Walla they have a DI chip that no one has ever seen. Quite a few of these were passed at strip properties, I am told. Seems like a lot of trouble for a $5 chip.

My friend does not know the name of the dealer that sold it to him.
