Bob, another possible side trip would be to Indian Springs, Pahrump, Amargosa Valley, and Beatty. The casinos with chips include Indian Springs Casino in Indian Springs; Terrible's Town, Saddle West, and Mountain View in Pahrump; Stateline Saloon & Longstreet in Amargosa Valley; and Burro Inn, Exchange Club & Stagecoach in Beatty. I believe that some of the Pahrump casinos and possibly the Stagecoach have the "non-black jack" chips you mentioned. Some of the non-gaming sights that could be worked into a daytrip include the Pahrump Winery (Nevada's only winery) and Death Valley (hotter than Laughlin - but its a dry heat). This would be a lot of driving - about 300 miles round trip.
