The free Fiesta chip does not have CC&GTCC on it. The officers of the CC&GTCC felt that the club logo on a chip issued at any casino other than the Orleans during the convention, could upset the Orleans. After much discussion with all the officers I agreed with them. It did not really matter that I agreed since their decission was the decission, but I did see what they were saying and did agree.

I did not want to waste an oppretunity. Two companies had agreed to spend the money to issue a free chip. It will commemorate the 10th year of organized chipping and says thanks from the Fiesta and Paulson. I will post this again before I go on vacation later this month.

The answer to your question is, yes it is to be given out at the Fiesta, begining at 10:00AM on August 12th. There are 2,000. We will make every effort to see that there is only one to a chipper.

The Fiesta is also on August 12th, making available, uncirculated $5,$25, and $100 chips from our opening rack.
