I agree with what you are saying..
I have been two a few shows, and chapter meetings. Chapter meetings are good because they have swap sessions. At the show you will notice there are many people walking from table to table carrying binders, these are collectors willing to trade. Collectors have walked up to me in the past and asked to see what I have. I use to feel intimidated at meetings, but that wears of when you find out how helpful and friendly some of these collectors can be.
