Gene --- I certainly appreciate the sentiment expressed in your post and wouldn't suggest that anyone has to or even should unwarp warped chips (or even clean dirty chips). On the other hand, I have been known to clean not only chips, but also a coin or two! <g> In fact, I once had a severely bent 1/2 Cent piece which I succeeded in pounding almost flat by heating it and then pounding it with a small rubber mallet. I guess you could say I'm no purist.
