Curacao Chip Guide.

I just received a call from my namesake as he was headed from his home in Connecticut to Montauk Point to check out the Viking Starliner. He kindly asked me to post this note which originally appeared on Prodigy a few days ago.

I am pleased to announce that my new book, "The History of the Casinos and the Chips and Checks of Cucacao" is back from the printer and available for distribution. I believe that it is the first attempt by anyone to provide a comprehensive book in this area. There are extensive color pictures of chips, casinos and other data, as well as the history of all the casinos. I am making the book available at a pre-convention discount for a total price including postage and handling of $19.95.

I have been in contact with Bob during the production of this work & know that he has spent countless hours on research & has gone to great expense in obtaining chips for the numerous casinos. He has spoken to gaming officials, casino owners & casino personnel in his attempt to be as accurate as he he can. I know that he has visited the island a few times & has tried to leave no stone unturned. This book should be a welcomed addition to any research library & a must for those that collect chips from Caribbean islands. With Archie's book on Puerto Rico that leaves only a few islands to be reseached & cataloged. We now need books on the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Guadeloupe, St. Kitts, Bonaire, Martinique, Antigua, St. Maarten, St. Vincent, Turks & Caicos, & the Bahamas.<g>
