There is a posting for "Official Las Vegas Casino" chips on eBay [#21497642] which are in fact fantasy chips. Here is my post to the seller.

Your description of the boxed set of casino chips as "official" is
not inaccurate, since that is what is marked on the sliding plastic
plate. However, the inference to be drawn from your ad description
is that these chips are from the casinos named. They aren't.
They are fantasy chips--but very nice ones. I have two sets of them and use them for my small stakes poker game. I bought one set of mine at the Gambler in Vegas and the other at a flea market here in Syracuse. They make a fine
playing set, but you should expressly note that they are
not from the casinos named.

Think I'll get a "thank you?" even a reply?" Betcha I won't.
