Don, Your note was a general comment of which I choose to respond too. I have never, since I've been in this hobby made a profit from the information I provide "free" to all collectors. Since I do not make a profit from this information - I decide what I will post and what I will not. Over the past two years many people have made gains from information I have provided. Yet these same individuals "do not give back" to the hobby they profit from. This hobby is for collectors and must always remain for collectors. Information is given freely until one begins to realize that others only use it for gain. Many individuals post info involving boats, indian casinos etc. This is "GREAT". So far, in my opinion, the information is for all and to my knowledge no one individual has profited to the expense of other collectors.
Here in Nevada it is different. Any info freely given is grabbed by certain individuals attempting to corner the market on chips from a "closing" casino. Sell them to their fellow collectors for five and six times what they paid simply because "they" obtained the information before anyone else. I will not contribute to that and neither will any other real collector. Therefore, No Nevada information will be forthcoming from me on this board in the area of closing casinos.
Also since I do not collect LEs and have no interest in them. I cannot provide this information. Information involving opening casinos is generally up on this board before I can tell anyone. What pray tell info do you want??
As far as discussions on this board - one must have an opinion inorder to voice it. Not simply rehash what others have previously said. I say things that I believe are needed to be said. Sometimes people agree - other times disagree. I really don't care which. I am more interested in getting people to think about issues so they can form an opinion which belongs to THAT individual and not "puppet" what others say. Lord knows we have enough "puppets". I want to see original thinkers. I don't care if they agree with me or not. Clubs don't grow unless original thinkers ask questions and voice opinions. Best, Jim
