RIT dye.....??? A little birdie told me mink oil was used to get that shade of gray... in an attempt to to turn the chip black.... so that it could be passed for a hundred. Story teller said that mink oil would penetrate the clay but not the center inlay. Havn't tried it so I don't know how true it is. Archie
