Re: One more little batch of Chip ID'd Please!

Steve ----- can't read the number on the upper middle chip. If it's 55, Greg just had some up for auction recently, and it's from 55 Club, San Carlos & First Street, San Jose CA (circa 1940's to 1960's and reported to be the first club in the area to allow women to play). (Info compliments of Jung/Pfaender California Chip Guide)

Greg also recently auctioned some of the Tony chips, which he attributed to a California cardroom -- Mel & Armin list five cardrooms with Tony in the name, but no chips with matching description to yours (or Greg's).

They also list a "Mora" cardroom in Visalia, but no description of any chips, so ?????

And, two "Owl" possibilities (Owl Billiard Hall in El Centro w/ no chips of similar description to yours & Owl Club/Marina in Roseville with no denomination white chip w/ small crown mold).
