Hi Woody, I had an article in the 1st or 2nd Gaming Times about the Arowdie. Not so much about the chip, more about my quest to find Tommy Hains, the distributer. The article confirmed that the arowdie was made at the Burt Co.
Tommy has always been an elusive subject for chippers. I talked to many people who knew him. About a year after the article, I found his grave.
I believe the last arowdie was issued at the Four Queens in 1966 as their opening rack.
Tommy lived in Las Vegas, which is why most arowdies are Nevada chips. I found people in Ky that knew Tommy, but know of no Ky arowdies.
I have arowdies found in Galvestion Tx, but, know of no arowdies attributed there.

I have several un-attributed arowdies, and believe they might stay that way.
